I’ve been trying to snowboard and take photos more this year.  I hadn’t been planning on doing both at the same time, but I have.  Having just bought my 7D, I’ve been hesitant taking it out for my snowboarding trips, so I used my old XT. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the results.

Last Saturday, I went up with a few friends.

I was going for a lens flare shot, which barely came out, but it turned out a lot better!

Besides my buddy Elise looking like a pro in this photo, I liked this shot because of the wave of snow that got picked up by the wind.

Then, yesterday, my dad and I played hooky from work and hit the slopes again.
